Q: HotSpot doesn't sell data - why do these laws matter?

A: Even though we don't sell data, these laws give you rights to access, delete, and correct your data, as well as understand how it's used.

Q: What if my state isn't listed?

A: You still have rights under our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We treat all users with respect and transparency, regardless of state.

Q: How long does it take to process requests?

A: We respond within 45 days for most requests. In complex cases, we may extend by an additional 45 days (we'll notify you).

Q: Is there a fee?

A: No. The first 2 requests per 12-month period are free. Excessive or repetitive requests may incur a reasonable fee.

Q: Can I use an authorized agent?

A: Yes. Your agent must provide written authorization signed by you and proof of their identity. You may still need to verify your identity directly.
