Core Principles

❌ Prohibited Content and Behavior

1. Hate Speech and Discrimination

ZERO TOLERANCE

We do NOT tolerate hate speech, discrimination, or harassment based on:

Consequence: Immediate permanent ban

2. Nudity and Sexual Content

Prohibited:

Consequence: Content removal, warning, or account suspension

3. Violence and Graphic Content

Prohibited:

Consequence: Immediate account suspension or permanent ban

4. Harassment and Bullying

Prohibited:

Consequence: Warning, suspension, or permanent ban

5. Fake Check-Ins and GPS Spoofing

STRICTLY PROHIBITED

HotSpot relies on accurate location data. You may NOT:

Consequence: Immediate account suspension or permanent ban

6. Underage Drinking and Fake IDs

ZERO TOLERANCE

You must be 21+ to redeem alcohol promotions. Prohibited:

Consequence: Immediate permanent ban + reporting to law enforcement

7. Spam and Commercial Abuse

Prohibited:

Consequence: Account suspension or permanent ban

8. Impersonation and Fake Accounts

Prohibited:

Consequence: Account suspension or permanent ban

9. Illegal Activity

Prohibited:

Consequence: Immediate permanent ban + reporting to law enforcement

10. Inappropriate Usernames and Profile Photos

Prohibited:

Consequence: Forced username/photo change, warning, or suspension

🚨 Reporting Violations

How to Report

If you see content or behavior that violates these guidelines:

  1. In-App: Tap the "Report" button on the user's profile or content
  2. Email: support@hotspot-us.com with subject "Report Violation"
  3. Include:
    • Username of the violator
    • Description of the violation
    • Screenshots (if applicable)
    • Date and time of the incident

What Happens After You Report

  1. Review: Our team reviews reports within 24-48 hours
  2. Action: We take appropriate action based on severity
  3. Confidentiality: Your report is confidential (we don't tell the violator who reported them)
  4. Follow-Up: We may contact you for additional information

Emergency Situations

If you witness or are experiencing an immediate threat to safety:

If you believe your account was suspended or banned in error:

  1. Email: appeals@hotspot-us.com
  2. Subject: "Account Appeal - [Your Username]"
  3. Include:
    • Your username and email address
    • Reason you believe the action was incorrect
    • Any supporting evidence
  4. Timeline: We will review appeals within 5-7 business days
  5. Decision: Our decision on appeals is final
