What Are Hot Alerts?
Hot Alerts are real-time, location-aware notifications from bars, restaurants, and clubs in the HotSpot network. When a venue drops a flash deal—think “$5 wells for the next hour” or “free appetizer with any entrée tonight”—you get an alert if you’re nearby or have that venue saved. No more scrolling through feeds or missing a deal because you didn’t know it existed.
How It Works
Venues create Hot Alerts in their HotSpot dashboard and set a time window and optional cap (e.g., first 50 guests). You receive a push notification and see the alert in the app’s Hot Alerts tab. Tap to view details, then head to the venue and show the offer in-app to redeem. It’s that simple.
Why We Built It
